Vanessa Byrne

Vanessa Byrne is an actor, creative producer, stage/production/marketing manager, director, dramaturg and all-round theatrical extraordinaire Dublin born and Mayo raised. Since 2021, she has worked for multiple festivals across Ireland and the UK, including the Dublin Fringe Festival, Dublin Theatre Festival, the Dublin International Film Festival and with Gilded Balloon at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Artistically, her festival highlights include Marketing and Publicity Manager for THIS TOO SHALL PASS, (Dublin Fringe Festival 2024) Production Manager of ROADKILL (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025) and was programmed as part of the DIFF x IFCO Lecture Series in the Dublin International Film Festival (2025.) 

Vanessa is also a resident artist of DYKEish Productions, and is the Studios Coordinator at the Dublin Fringe Festival.

Vanessa holds a BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies with English from the University of Galway, and an M. Phil in Film Studies - Screenwriting from Trinity College Dublin. She has also studied a semester abroad at The School of Drama, The New School, New York.
