Simon Choplin

Performer

Born in Blois, France, Simon began classical dance at the Tours C.N.R., in 1992 and went on to study at Epsedanse, the National Centre of Choreography in Montpellier and the Coline Company in Istres. Simon has worked in Prague with Barbora Latalovà Non Liquet, and has toured with Verticale Danse Cie in Switzerland and Latin America before going on to the Stadttheater of Hildesheim in Germany. 2001-2003, he was on an exchange with a design school, working on contact improvisation. Simon has danced for Circus Festival of Nexon [France] and the Stadttheatre, Freiburg. He is currently working with Thomas Maucher as part of Coco+ on Hintergrundegeraücher which will be performed in Freiburg.
