Sara Ariotti
Sara Ariotti is an Italian artist working in the field of dance as a creator and freelance performer. Since 2022 she has collaborated with Pablo Girolami (IVONA) and Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani (DACRU Dance Company). In 2026 she joined Naturalis Labor for INSOMNIE produced by Vidavè Company, and Take 2 by Noa Zuk.
As a creator, Sara engages with formats of expanded choreography, focusing on collaboration with emerging multidisciplinary artists.These include a short dance film A SAMPLED DANCE, co-created with a filmmaker Floriana Corpina (finalist at the Cinematica Festival 2024) and NICE TO MEET YOU, duet performed and co-created with Kyda Pozza.
In her ongoing artistic research Sara seeks alternatives to conventional dance aesthetics through playful, simple and ironic perspective on movement. Research of authentic approaches to movement led her to develop Misshapen, a work-in-progress solo produced by House of IVONA, with support of DANCEHAUSpiù and SD Factory.
