Roseanne Lynch

ITI offsite Resident 2026

Residency Dates: 3 – 7 August 2026

Roseanne Lynch is an actor, mover, playwright and theatre-maker. Last year, she was part of ITI’s Six in the Attic programme (Virtual Attic, Kildare). She is currently performing in THE DEVIL'S IN THE DANCE HALL, an immersive dance/theatre experience by Edwina Guckian, with playwright Vincent Woods and theatre director John O’Hare. Her practice as a writer/maker is informed and supported by her training and experience as an actor, aiming to create theatre that is radically alive, making space for the agency and spontaneous creativity of the Ensemble. Her experience of motherhood inspires and influences both the subject matter of her work, and the shapes her process takes - emergent, intuitive, playful and non-linear, embracing the in-between. She was recently awarded an Arts Council Theatre Bursary to explore the possibilities of applying principles of biomimicry in her theatre practice. During her Offsite Residency, she will focus on developing a new piece of physical theatre - working title: FOXLING.
