Dave O'Meara began acting at Dublin Youth Theatre. Theatre credits since include DOWN ALL THE DAYS (Oscar Theatre), THE HA'PENNY PLACE (Project), EQUUS (Cork Opera House), THE BLUE MACUSHLA (Irish tour), JASPER RIDLEY (British Tour for Hull Truck), Rosencrantz in HAMLET (Second Age), Looka in THE BEAR (An Béal Bocht), Jack in A CHILDS CHRISTMAS IN WALES (Abbey), Mickey in BLOOD BROTHERS, Eugene in GREASE, and the title role in SNOOPY, all at the Olympia, Eddie/Dr Scott in the ROCKY HORROR SHOW (SFX). Film and TV includes UNDERCURRENTS (Tile Films), SOMETIMECITY (City Vision Films), THE GUARDIANS (Roy Mark Films), and GRACE IN AMERICA (RTE). David's musical background is as a singer in several bands and as a session vocalist, he has worked on many commercials and film soundtracks.
