Christina Nelson

Christina was born in Belfast, and began her career as a child actor, playing the title role in ANNIE as well as appearing in OLIVER and PETER PAN. Since then she has had a varied career incorporating performing, directing, writing, and choreographing. Theatre includes THE LOST CHILD; TIME HURDLERS, STONES, THAT DRIVING AMBITION for Replay Productions; WIGS N' GREEN JA' BLADES FLYIN and ONIONS for Big Telly; SCROOGE; JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and CINDERELLA for the Ulster Theatre Company; CABARET; A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, STAGS N' HENS, and ALADDIN for the Arts Theatre Belfast and FAMILY ALBUM for Virtual Reality. Christina co-wrote a play for primary school children called OUT OF THIS WORLD which was commissioned by the Ulster Cancer Foundation. She also frequently works with cross community groups throughout Belfast and The Beat Initiative. Film and T.V. include TITANIC TOWN, FLAS MCVEIGH, and ANSWERING BACK.
