Andreja Brozović Adžić-Kapitanović
Andreja Brozović Adžić-Kapitanović is a Croatian dancer, choreographer, performing artist and educator working across contemporary dance, physical theatre and acting.
She has been involved in dance from an early age and has developed her practice as a dancer and choreographer, with a particular interest in contemporary dance and movement-based performance. She is an active member of the K2K Dance Centre, where she works as a dancer, choreographer and dance instructor. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a dance and stage movement educator, leading workshops and programmes for children and adults. She is an external associate on the Rhythm and Movement course at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka and has been involved in educational projects including the Francis Footwork programme in Croatia.
Her work in theatre developed through her studies in Acting and Media at the Academy of Applied Arts at the University of Rijeka, Croatia, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Acting. As an actress and performer, she has participated in numerous theatre and artistic projects, including productions at the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, such as Macbeth, Gamad and TO = TO. Her theatrical practice is closely connected to physical theatre, stage movement and choreography.
Through the intersection of dance, theatre and movement, she is interested in exploring different forms of live performance and artistic expression.
