Alison O'Shea
Alison O’Shea is a Dublin-based dancer and stage manager whose practice exists between performance and production. Alison graduated from The Lir Academy in 2024 with a degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre, and has since worked with Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company, touring nationally with productions including CHORA, REVERB, and TROJANS. She has also toured internationally as Stage Manager for Impasse by Mufutau Yusuf, presenting the work at Prisma Festival in Panama, The Lowry in Manchester, and Maison de la Danse in Lyon. Her production work spans dance and movement-based performance, children’s theatre at The Ark, live entertainment including Dancing with the Stars, and independent work presented in Edinburgh and at Dublin Fringe Festival.
Alongside her work in production, Alison continues to develop her movement practice through workshops, residencies, and performance opportunities. She was most recently part of Step Up Dance Project 2026, performing in TRIAL, choreographed by Mufutau Yusuf. Her practice is grounded in a strong connection between movement, sound, and live performance, while her experience in production allows her to engage with work from both sides of the stage.
