Reel Luck

The highlight of Dance Fest ’95

A fast paced journey to present day Ireland, REEL LUCK captures the pace of transformation in Irish culture over recent decades. From the land of de Valera’s vision and moving statues to Eurovision and peace in the North, it explores the changes in the role of women, moral values, symbols of fortune and the rural / urban divide.

The second programme of Dance Fest ’95 was a triumph, ending with a performance of Reel Luck by CoisCéim Dance Theatre which entitles choreographer David Bolger to be considered a national treasure
