Mufutau Yusuf Aerowaves Twenty26 Artist

MANY CONGRATULATIONS to Mufutau Yusuf who has been selected by the European platform Aerowaves as a Twenty26 Artist and will present his work PROSES ON NEITHER HERE NOR THERE (BENCH #5) at the Spring Forward Festival in Guimarães, Portugal next May.

PROSES ON NEITHER HERE NOR THERE is born from the CoisCéim commission BENCH #5 that premiered at George's Dock, Dublin in July 2025.

Set against the backdrop of global unrest, it is a meditation on how we live, what we leave behind and the legacy we shape. PROSES ON NEITHER HERE NOR THERE contemplates the fragility of human life and the quiet strength found in its impermanence. Through the body and the language of dance, the work offers a meditative space to engage with notions of mortality with reflection and curiosity. It embraces themes of decay, transformation and renewal, inviting people to consider death not as an end, but as a vital part of existence, as a cycle within the force of nature.
