Knots On Tour
Aurora Nova, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 4 - 28 August, 2006
Tron Theatre, Glasgow 2 September, 2006
CoisCéim's production KNOTS will tour to the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 4th to 28th August. Generally regarded as one of the best and most original shows of 2005 KNOTS won Best Production at the Dublin Fringe Festival before embarking on a national tour earlier this year. KNOTS will be performed at Aurora Nova, one of the most critically acclaimed festival venues for physical theatre and dance.
The show will then transfer to the Tron Theatre in Glasgow for one performance only on 2nd September. Directed by virtuoso choreographer Liam Steel of Stan Won't Dance, this text-meets-movement dance theatre show tries to untangle the complexity of human relationships using brutal and high-octane choreography and the insightful text of Scottish psychoanalyst R.D. Laing.
