Synopsis:
BACK IN TOWN was inspired by the lyrics and music of the rock icon Phil Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy. Vibrant teenagers hit the stage with club culture attitudes dancing to music which rejuvenates their imagination with folklore and adventure. Spring-boarded back to summer in Dublin in the 1070s they move through tales of personal loves and loss. The dance follows the boldness of compulsive journeys leading to hard edge decisions of emigration as the pressing problems of unemployment at home seals their fate.
