dance arias

A celebration of dance and opera
as part of Bealtaine 2010

Do you have a passion for opera?

Do you love to dance?

Did you ever imagine yourself as Carmen, Don Giovanni or perhaps Aida?

Over six weeks, CoisCéim's choreographers host drop-in dance classes in six centres across Dublin beginning 20 April. Price per class is €3.

Open to anyone aged 50+ they offer people the chance to dance to some of the most famous opera arias of all time, learn original choreography and meet other passionate dance/opera lovers.

Dance Arias culminates in a public performance on Sunday 30 May 3pm, The Round Room, adjacent to the Mansion House, Dublin. Friends and family welcome. Admission free.

Whether you are interested in attending, would like to perform, or simply have a desire to try something different, we hope you will join us in theis unique celebration.

This is a partnership project between CoisCéim Dance Theatre and Dublin City Council's Arts, Sport and Leisure, and Community Development sections.
